Choosing the Right Ceramic Teapot Size

Think about how you like to drink tea. If it's just you and a cup in the morning, a small 55 ml pot is perfect. For a family or a few friends, a 1 liter pot works better. We have sizes in between too, so you can match the pot to your tea time.

Caring for Your Hand-Painted Teapot

Our teapots are made to be used, not just looked at. They're dishwasher safe, but if you want to keep the paint bright, hand washing is gentler. Avoid sudden temperature changes, like putting a cold pot on a hot stove, to prevent cracking.

Why Granny Lulu Teapots Are Different

We make our teapots with a thick ceramic that holds heat, and we glaze them with lead-free finishes. The spouts are shaped to pour clean, and the handles are comfortable to hold. Plus, each one is hand-painted, so you get a little piece of art that works.

Frequently asked questions

Are these teapots safe for a stovetop?

No, our ceramic teapots are not for direct heat. Use them with hot water from a kettle.

Can I put the teapot in the microwave?

Yes, you can warm water in it, but the metal-free glaze is microwave safe. Just be careful when removing it.

Will the hand-painted design fade over time?

With normal use and hand washing, the paint stays bright. Dishwasher use may dull it over time, so we recommend hand washing.

Do you sell replacement lids?

We don't sell lids separately, but if yours breaks, contact us and we'll see what we can do.

How many cups does the 350 ml pot make?

That's about two standard teacups, depending on how full you pour.
